All of our plants are grown right here in Eau Claire, WI, from parent plants that thrive in our back yard.

Grown in locally available byproducts, mostly compost and hardwood bark, our plants receive all their nutrition from indigenous microorganisms who break down things that used to be alive. In other words, you won’t find any synthetic fertilizers here.

Our seedlings are grown in specialized containers that promote deep and fibrous root systems, eliminating the dreaded ‘root spiral’.

We don’t baby our plants. We do our best to set them up for success but otherwise let them be. This way you can be confident that when they get to your yard they’ll be there for the long haul.

We are committed to reducing our use of consumable goods, seeking instead to reuse everything we can and pull resources from the waste stream. All of our plants are sent home with you in 100% compostable packaging, so you don’t have to figure out what to do with a bunch of plastic pots.
